Summer is upon us, and we are all feeling the heat!
Enjoy getting outdoors but take care to protect yourself
from the effects of too much sun! July is UV Safety
Month. Remember to apply sunscreen regularly, to wear
sunglasses with UV protection, and to minimize sun
exposure during the peak hours of the day.
The summertime is also a good opportunity to come in for
your yearly check-up. With more emphasis than ever on
preventive health care, make sure your health screening
tests and vaccinations are up-to-date. It is
recommended to have your eyes checked regularly and to
see your dentist every 6 months. Also, make sure you
"Know Your Numbers." This includes your blood pressure,
blood sugar, and cholesterol levels. Come in with any
health questions or concerns so that we can help you
feel the best that you can!
